Parker roles out the Tasman Sea T-3 RO units that can utilise 6" or 8" membranes and with the option to add a Second Pass bank of membranes. This offers the ability to produce both Potable and Technical Water in a small compact system designed for installation into areas with restricted access such as doorways and hatches.

Parker Water Purification won a contract to supply DSME Korea with four (4) packages for installation on M.O.D new build vessels. The ships will have bespoke Parker Reverse Osmosis Systems for the bunkering of Technical Water requirements. We met with their main contractor recently to discuss supporting this high profile project; support will include Liaison, Spares supply plus Technical help and Service.

We visited SMM Hamburg this year to meet our principles and fellow distributors and also to see first hand market conditions and the effect on global spending within the O&G industry. It was evident supplier and company spending was down on previous years but most believing the market has bottomed out so the overall mood looking ahead is one of optimism.

Bass adds Innovative range of Spiral Water Filters and Parker's range of Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) packages to it's product line. Spiral Water Filters with automatic self cleaning operation were designed as sea water pre-treatment plug and play, stand alone units for RO systems, effectively reducing RO bio-fouling year round.

Parker Brackish RO units range from small with a footprint of a washing machine producing 10m3/day, to large containerized packages for remote areas with only river, surface and boreholes as a water source.

With the drop in oil prices and the current insecurity of future North Sea developments we have experienced a significant shift in source of enquires, many of which are coming from Global Suppliers to the European Offshore Wind Farm Sector. We see this only as a positive for the next 3 to 5 years. Without doubt oil prices will rise in the not too distant future and the existing proposed North Sea O&G Field Developments will move forward creating many job opportunities.

Bass Offshore supplies an Aberdeen Offshore Module Rental Company with a Sea Recovery RO Package to compliment it's existing rental fleet of offshore containers.
Manufactured at Parker Hannifin's Water Purification Division California and delivered in less than 5 weeks from receiving our Client's order.
The unit is installed into a bespoke 20' DNV2.7-1 offshore container and is to be, initially, utilised for an Offshore Wind Farm Project in the North Sea. The package is capable of providing all daily service water and drinking water requirements for the platform and it's temporary crew.
Bass Offshore is now a member of the SHIPSERV Community.

North Sea Operator Chooses Parker Sea Recovery RO unit for Offshore Platform.
Bass has been instrumental in a high profile Client choosing Parker Sea Recovery (SRC) to supply a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water maker for an offshore platform in the North Sea. The unit will increase current capability for the platform to produce additional drinking water; any problems associated with delivery or bunkering of water in the harsh North Sea conditions will be substantially reduced if not completely eliminated.
This is great achievement for Bass as UK representatives; A complete understanding of the clients position and offshore needs ultimately allowed us to tailor the package to keep the delivery schedule to an absolute minimum.

Bass Offshore has been awarded the UK Distributorship for the Parker Sea Recovery (SRC) brand of products which includes Sea Recovery Water Makers. Bass, previously as Consultants for Sea Recovery, promoted the SRC range of standard and bespoke Offshore Water Treatment Packages.
Evidence has shown Bass's selective targeting with a professional and dedicated approach has paid dividends with a substantial increase in enquiries and subsequent orders.
Bass has added to the list of quality equipment and products for use on OSVs, FPSOs, Drill Barges and Platforms; they include Parker Bilge Water Separators (BWS), Nitrogen Generators and Liqui-Cel Membrane Contactor equipment.
